The Yeovil International Literary Prize 2017

Who may enter The Yeovil Literary Prize is open to anyone over the age of 16.
Description The contest is organised by the Yeovil Community Arts Association.
There are four categories: Novel – maximum of 15,000 words, including synopsis and opening chapters. Short Story – maximum of 2,000 words. Poetry – maximum of 40 lines. Writing Without Restrictions – this category is wide open. The judges are looking for anything you have written that is good, and is legal.
Entries must be in English.
Entries must be the work of the entrant and must not have been previously self-published, broadcast, or accepted for publication.
Entry fees Novel: £12 Short Story: £7 Poetry: £7 one poem; £10 for two; £12 for three Writing Without Restrictions: £5
Prizes Novel: 1st £1000; 2nd £250; 3rd £100 Short Story: 1st £500; 2nd £200; 3rd £100 Poetry: 1st £500; 2nd £200; 3rd £100 Writing Without Restrictions: 1st £200; 2nd £100; 3rd £50
