Unbelievable Power

An Eastern chemistry professor tried an experiment.
He held up a vial labeled ‘Violet Perfume” and asked his students to raise their hands as soon as they could detect the odour.
Fifteen seconds after he removed the cork, every hand in the front row was up, and in less than a minute three-fourth of the class signaled they could smell the perfume.
The bottle contained nothing but water.
Mere suggestion, accepted without question, has almost unbelievable power over individuals.
