Everything Change Climate Fiction Contest 2018

Participants must be 18 years or older.
Description
The contest is presented by the Imagination and Climate Futures Initiative at Arizona State University.
We are looking for stories that illustrate, explore, or illuminate the impact of climate change on humanity and/or the Earth. We enthusiastically invite submissions in all genres of short fiction, including speculative, realistic, literary, experimental, hybrid forms, and more.
You may submit up to one work of short fiction with a maximum length of 5,000 words.
The work must be written in English.
Submissions must be original work that has not been previously published in-print or online.
Work will be judged by Kim Stanley Robinson.

Entry is free.
Prizes
The winner will receive a $1,000 prize. Nine finalists will receive $50 each.
Selected work will be published in an anthology by the Imagination and Climate Futures Initiative at Arizona State University.
