2018 ABR Elizabeth Jolley Short Story Prize

Who may enter
Entries are welcome from writers anywhere in the world. There is no age limit.
The competition is organized by Australian Book Review.
Entries must be a single story of 2,000 to 5,000 words, written in English. Stories can be on any subject and in any style.
Entries must be submitted online.
Entry fees
Current ABR subscriber: AU$15
Full-time student: AU$15
Standard/non subscriber: AU$25
• 1st prize: AU$7,000
• 2nd prize: AU$2,000
• 3rd prize: AU$1,000
• The judges will commend three extra stories, the authors of which will receive an equal share of the remaining $2,500
The three shortlisted stories will be published in August 2018 issue, both in the print edition and ABROnline.
